The positions of Vtg-fragments relative to the complete sequence in O. mykiss

The positions of Vtg-fragments relative to the complete sequence in O. masou

The relative positions of Vtg fragments can be determined by aligninfg the fragments to the complete sequense[1] based on the N-terminal sequences and molecular weights estimated by the second dimention.

The potential fragmentation process can be estimated by the fact that a Vtg fragment is derived from another longer fragment that appears earlier and logically includes it. For instance, Spot338 appeared earlier than Spot53, and the former includes the latter, so it is possible that Spot338 is cleft to Spot53. Potential proteolytic processing of 45 Vtg-fragments of rainbow trout is summerized in next site.
